Feature requests

I would like to be able to have. Bright bold yellow Letters on Black Background (dark mode) due to vision needs or have other colors available (blue or green) also bold white letters as well. I will share with low vision Deaf Blind consumers when this is done.

Previously in the MiniApp, when, for example, It finished transcribing a portion of text, you could double click and select that portion of text. Then you could copy and paste it afterward. Now you can’t do that anymore it only lets you select individual words, which isn’t practical if you want to select an entire text. Please bring back the previous function, the way it was before.

With SpeakerID it’s annoying to have to label the same family members each time when using the app in family meet ups with deaf relatives.

Ava on ipad is partly horizontal partly vertical, sometimes cutting off the right part of the screen, and the messages are all vertical even though i use ipad pro with magic keyboard where it should be horizontal. Also when using the app for answering, all controls are hidden, so yo umust answer to get back to menus, and it is hard to see who to stop the transcription

To be able to use the app offline for selected languages that can be downloaded to the device. Quite important feature for deaf people like me, that likes to travel, but it’s not always possible to have a stable connection and so that it’s impossible to communicate with other hearing people.

Difficulty understanding foreign accented speech

When there is background noise or the setting/environment is loud, Ava struggles to "hear" and discern words to caption properly. It would be nice if Ava had the capability (as many hearing aids and other assistive technologies do) to discern dominant voices and focus on the loudest voice close by so that caption quality could be better.

Having a speech-to-text interface with an Apple CarPlay interface would really help with communicating with deaf passengers in a vehicle. It would reduce the need for the driver to use ASL. Our car screens are getting bigger, enough for a deaf passenger to read from any seat. The current alternative is to use our tiny phones on a mount for passengers to read speech-to-text technology, making it difficult for drivers and passengers. This function would help immensely

Ability to upload any audio file (of any size and format) to be completely transcripted, and then saved as a new copy.
