Feature requests

To be able to use the app offline for selected languages that can be downloaded to the device. Quite important feature for deaf people like me, that likes to travel, but it’s not always possible to have a stable connection and so that it’s impossible to communicate with other hearing people.

Is it possible to have punctuation mark especially question mark in the transcription ?

When I open Ava app on my iPhone it always starts on the recording screen and I have to tap the stop button. Is there a way to disable this?

I would like options to disable or enable the multiple speakers detection. I would like a way to lock it into a single speaker mode. Currently it keeps trying to detect speakers even when I know there's only one speaker. This affects caption quality and readability significantly. I would prefer to translate right away without attempting to assign to speakers, only using multiple speakers in ideal conditions.

I would like to request a feature that allows my voice to be excluded from the transcription while still capturing everyone else’s voices. This would be helpful for scenarios where I’m facilitating a conversation for someone who is hard of hearing and only need others’ voices transcribed. Thank you for considering this feature!

When there is background noise or the setting/environment is loud, Ava struggles to "hear" and discern words to caption properly. It would be nice if Ava had the capability (as many hearing aids and other assistive technologies do) to discern dominant voices and focus on the loudest voice close by so that caption quality could be better.

It would be nice if I could edit the size of the live caption box when I just want to watch videos on my phone. I would also appreciate the option for a transparent caption background so it's not visually distruptive.
