To be able to use the app offline for selected languages that can be downloaded to the device. Quite important feature for deaf people like me, that likes to travel, but it’s not always possible to have a stable connection and so that it’s impossible to communicate with other hearing people.

Hi Marina, my name is Rupin Bhalla and I'm the product manager for the mobile apps. We support offline usage but the OS settings must be in the language you wish to translate it. You will have to go to settings of your iPhone and change your default language to the one you want translated. Once you have done this, please open up Ava and you will receive captions in that selected language. Please contact me at Rupin@ava.me if you have any follow up questions
